For one of the leading teams on IT innovation within the Deutsche Telekom Group, our IT Architecture & Business Analysis team within T-Mobile Netherlands, we are looking for a Domain Architect to lead us continuously towards to the future landscape of our Finance & Risk applications.

It is clear that you have experience and creative ideas to optimize application landscapes in the area of Finance & Risk. You have multiple technologies in your profile and bring your ideas and experience to the table. You know how to optimize the applications within a finance department, and how make it digital and future proof!

SAP is a part of our landscape, and we intend to keep it “a part” for the coming years. You have worked and innovated in SAP, but you are not a fulltime SAP Architect. We like you to be as versatile as possible!

RPA is something you know when to activate and when not. You are the defender of the technology roadmap, you are kind of political, meaning you know when to hold your breath, and through communication and your personality, you will help us realize your vision and creative solutions. You integrate vision into action.

You are analytical and able to structure information. Having overview comes naturally to you. You aim to find better ways and challenge the status quo. You dare to do things differently. At the same time you create togetherness in your relationships and build on each other’s strengths. In your communication with others you are honest and straightforward. You have an inspiring way of working and can get people on board with your vision for the Finance and Risk domain within a modern IT landscape. You can easily switch between strategic, tactical and operational thinking.

The Domain Architect Finance & Risk at T- Mobile defines and designs the technology roadmap regarding the financial domain in its totality. Core finance, billing & invoicing, revenue assurance, supply chain management, risk management and fraud detection: you will be dealing with the corresponding applications and will be the trusted advisor from IT to our CFO and the entire Finance department. You will be working closely together with your stakeholders, you define the vision and blueprint for tools and methods needed.

You will bring us ito the future, and yes that includes AI and Robotics.

You define implementation strategies, architectural blueprints and solutions. You are expected to drive the technology agenda in an agile context, which requires both a high level of technical specialization as well as project management skills.

The Domain Architect is a member of the IT Architecture and Business Analysis department. The departments exists of 50 specialists who collectively define the technology direction for all IT related demand in the T-Mobile organization. You will work with non-technical stakeholders as well as development and operational teams. It is important that the finance & risk solutions fit in the overall landscape of business and enterprise solutions, in line with guiding frameworks (e.g. security, enterprise architecture, information management), and supported by solid IT operations and ways of working.

Skills and competencies

• Bachelor degree with 6 or more years of experience in technical/sciences area, preferably in Computer Science or with a strong emphasis on IT;
• At least 3 years of experience working as an IT architect or even enterprise architect, with a proven track record in managing architectural change towards Finance applications;
• Proven experience in the design and deployment of several of the following platforms: SAP (ECC, IS-T, CRM, Retail, S/4HANA), billing & invoicing, revenue assurance & fraud detection, IFRS reporting;
• In-depth experience of information technology and information security, including risk management, GDPR compliancy, robotization & process automation (RPA);
• Experience with Agile Scrum, SAFe or other agile methodologies and frameworks;
• Knowledgeable about system integration, collaboration platforms, productivity tools, mobile platforms and cloud services.
• Very good knowledge of primary and secondary Telecom processes, preferably with proven experience in a major Telco but we are also open for experience within Utilities or Banking & Insurance for this specific position.
• At least one of the Architecture Framework certifications (e.g. TOGAF, ZACHMAN, DYA)
• Industry recognized technology certification (e.g. TMForum, TCP, MSCPA, MSCIA, etc.)
